At Sierra Design & Interiors, we approach spec home design differently. While many speculative homes are known for being cookie-cutter, we believe great design should always feel intentional. Every home has its own personality, shaped by its architecture and exterior materials, and we design from the outside in to create a cohesive, well-thought-out interior.

Because spec homes aren’t designed for a specific client, our focus is on choices that resonate broadly and simply feel right. Thoughtful interior design, quality materials, and strong execution help ensure the home connects with future buyers the moment they walk through the door.

Custom cabinetry plays a major role in our process. From functional kitchen layouts to custom stain development, we pay close attention to how materials work together. Sometimes that means testing multiple stain options until we find the one that complements the space perfectly—but those details are what elevate a spec home from standard to special.

We also use lighting design to bring warmth and personality into each space. Organic, sculptural light fixtures paired with clean-lined cabinetry create balance and keep interiors from feeling too rigid or predictable.
